OUR CHURCH
Discipleship: Matthew 28:19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Worship: Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.
Ministry: 1 Peter 4:10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
Fellowship/Unity: Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Missions /Evangelism: Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
WELCOMING YOU HOME
First and foremost, we are a Bible believing Church, our beliefs are based on the scriptures and the Words of Christ. Secondly we are a Bible teaching church, our messages and our worship are Bible based and are designed to challenge and grow us as believers, and lastly we are a mission minded church. We are active in sharing the love of Christ, we give financially, support and pray for those sharing the gospel of Christ through-out the world and here in Lakeside
We also believe that growing as a Christ-centered person requires active participation in the church.
Our purpose can be stated simply “To know God, to enjoy God and to make Him known” our church mission is to help others know Christ as their personal savior and to encourage their growth in knowing God.
